The obviously fraudulent applications filed by a vendor hired by the Republican Party of Florida have gained wide attention in a case that's now being investigated by law enforcement.
The dead woman registered to vote in Santa Rosa County. Phony addresses in Palm Beach County for voters that lead to a gas station, a Land Rover dealership and the Port Everglades administration office.

East Baltimore death in police custody ruled a homicide

The state medical examiner has determined that an East Baltimore man's death in police custody last month was a homicide caused by blunt force trauma, according to police, an account that contrasts with earlier assertions that he died from choking on drugs.

Police have said that Anthony Anderson, 46, suffered at least one broken rib, and the autopsy found that his spleen was ruptured, chief spokesman Anthony Guglielmi confirmed.

The significance of a homicide finding remains unclear; by definition, a homicide means the death was caused by another person, though it does not speak to intent, or whether the death was an accident. Police and prosecutors are still investigating the circumstances to determine whether officers acted improperly during the arrest.

Republican Offenders: Republican Schadenfreude

Schadenfreude is a German word meaning “pleasure taken from someone else's misfortune.” The America equivalent is the sarcastic, “Aw, it couldn’t have happened to a nicer guy.” )Obviously the most delicious schadenfreude is homegrown from the finest in superior ultra-conservative piety and self-righteousness, but not all the best schadenfreude comes from the front page and not all stories are buried deep in the past.

Editor's note: Too bad the site only goes up to 2008!

The website includes all sorts of Republican shenanigans and topics, including -- but not limited to -- drugs, prostitutionespionage, terrorismserial killers, televangelists, talk show hostscorruption, bribery, fraud, and embezzlement.

Here's a sample...
