First Post

Recently, I started receiving news alerts on my cell phone.  Initially, I signed up for local news alerts, but I was eager to receive more information.  I'm limited to the USA news sources, because I have no interest in paying additional fees to receive text messages from outside of the USA, although I have a strong interest in reading foreign news sources.

As with any news source, what is posted or disseminated tends to be lurid, sensational, and/or bizarre.  In smaller communities, the postings tend to be more ordinary or prosaic.

Reading these messages -- from various sources -- in succession gives me the impression of non sequitur phrases.

My "purpose" of this blog is to share some of these text messages that -- for whatever reason -- I find interesting.
